Produced by Ligne Blanche in Paris in collaboration with the Estate of Jean-Michel Basquiat, this Limoges porcelain plate features a detail from Basquiat’s work on paper King Alphonso (1983), which includes the artist’s signature three-pointed crown motif and likely references King Alfonso XIII of Spain. As in Basquiat’s artwork, the plate illustrates an isolated head in vivid red, yellow, and purple hues surrounded by enigmatic symbols in violet.
